Things to do in Mercury Court

There is little to do on-site, but not more than a hop, skip, and a jump there is the entrance into Paterson Park Community Center (PPCC). PPCC is a wonderful place for kids and adults to swim in the indoor swimming pool, which has a playground in the middle of the kid’s pool. There is also a 20 foot slide that swirls you as you come down. Adults can work out in the gym, run the track, or play basketball in one of the gyms while their infants are being watched in the daycare. Paterson Park also has a library with computers, an art room, a theater, a game room with pool tables and e-games, and a Project Go! and Project Yield! room. Project Go! is a great place for kids, ages 7-15, to go during summer break and after school for homework help and activities. Outside Patterson Park there is a nice playground, picnic pavilions, and a huge field to play kickball, football, or soccer. This facility bases your membership fee on income. Generally, there is no charge for the use of PPCC if you live in Affordable Housing. As fees are based on income your income will be validated prior to signing up.

Need a babysitter to attend class or work? Register your child in the Mercury Court Preschool. If eligible, the daycare will watch your children while you attend class or go to work.

The Hope Clinic is now on-site with three exam rooms and one treatment room at Mercury Court.  The Hope Clinic serves as a medical home for uninsured and underserved patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
