Other Benefits
We have cameras and police precincts at two of our project areas and cameras at our Westbrooks facility. To reduce the amount of criminal activity, Murfreesboro Housing Authority was the first public housing operation to install cameras. They also moved in a police precinct at full staff. As a result, crime has decreased and community spirit has increased. Parents are sitting on their front porch watching their children play in the newly renovated playgrounds without worrying about crime. Follow this link,City of Murfreesboro, to see the full story.
