After School Program: This program is sponsored by the Murfreesboro Housing Authority and the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department.

Volunteer Service (AKA Community Service): Volunteer Service is a requirement by HUD. If you are a public housing resident and you don't fall into the exemption category, you must do 8 hours of volunteer service a month. To be exempt you must be either be disabled, working 30 hours or more a week, a student, or 62 years of age or older.

Resident Activities Calendar: Each month a new resident calendar comes out on this web site, and in the MHA newsletter that residents receive in their mailbox. On the resident calendar you will find activities planned for the month, such as the Birthday Bingo Bash. You will also find out the days and time the computer lab will be open.

MHA Newsletter: Find out useful information such as what's happening in your neighborhood and how to save some money.

Network Neighborhood: Section eight and public housing residents are encouraged to attend a computer lab where you can learn the basics in Microsoft Office products and operating systems. Online Employment: Here you can find various web sites that offer to put your resume online. You can also look for work locally, in the states, or abroad.
